Role Summary
As a Lead Accountant at inKind, you will play a critical role in strengthening the technical accounting, financial reporting, and accounting operations that support our continued growth.
This is a senior individual contributor role designed for an experienced accountant who combines a strong public accounting / Big 4 foundation with the ability to operate hands-on in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You will serve as a technical accounting resource across the Finance organization, helping evaluate complex transactions, establish accounting treatment and policies, strengthen controls, and ensure our financial reporting remains accurate, scalable, and GAAP compliant.
You will work closely with the Controller and broader Finance team while partnering across Legal, Operations, Product, and other areas of the business. The ideal candidate can move comfortably between researching a complex accounting issue, preparing technical accounting documentation, reviewing financial statements, supporting an audit, and improving the underlying processes and systems that produce our financial information.
This is an opportunity to bring the rigor and technical foundation of public accounting into a growing fintech and hospitality technology business where you can have significant ownership and impact.

• You are comfortable challenging existing processes and identifying opportunities to improve controls, reporting, systems, and automation.
• You can communicate complex accounting concepts clearly to both Finance and non-Finance stakeholders.
• You thrive in an environment where priorities evolve quickly and where you are expected to independently identify and solve problems.
