HADRIAN - MANUFACTURING THE FUTURE
Hadrian is building autonomous factories to reindustrialize America. By combining AI, advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing, we help aerospace and defense companies build rockets, satellites, aircraft, ships, and other mission-critical systems up to 10x faster and at significantly lower cost.
Following our $1.37B Series D at a $7.87B valuation, Hadrian is rapidly expanding our manufacturing footprint, launching new capabilities across welding, casting, forging, electronics, additive manufacturing, and more, while scaling our Factory-as-a-Service platform to transform how critical products are built.
Backed by leading investors including JPMorgan Chase, Valor Equity Partners, Andreessen Horowitz, Founders Fund, 137 Ventures, Lux Capital, T. Rowe Price, and Morgan Stanley, we’re building the future of American manufacturing—and looking for exceptional people to help make it happen.
If you’re ready to take on the most challenging and rewarding work of your career while helping create American manufacturing jobs for generations to come, you’re exactly who we’re looking for.
THE ROLE:
This person is the day-to-day execution engine of Hadrian's M&A integration function, owning the discipline of turning closed deals into realized strategic and operational value. They lead integration across every functional workstream, from diligence and pre-close planning through Day 1, Day 100, and the transition to business-as-usual. They translate deal theses into concrete workplans, governance, and milestones; coordinate functional leaders across Operations, Finance, HR, IT, Legal, Quality, Supply Chain, and EHS; and keep the business, its customers, and its mission running without disruption throughout. They own integration workstreams end to end under the direction of corp dev / strategy leadership, working alongside FP&A, Engineering, Operations, and Legal to keep integration aligned with the broader business. The role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and the defense / advanced-manufacturing market, and scales as the corp dev function and deal cadence grow.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead cross-functional M&A integration end to end, from pre-close planning through Day 1, Day 100, and steady-state transition.
- Translate deal objectives and value-creation targets into detailed workplans, governance structures, milestones, decision forums, and executive reporting.
- Coordinate functional leaders across Operations, Finance, HR, IT, Legal, Quality, Supply Chain, and EHS to manage dependencies, resolve critical issues, and maintain continuity.
- Partner with Finance and business leaders to validate, track, and realize operational-value and cost targets.
- Run structured operating cadences (e.g., weekly workstream syncs, monthly and quarterly reviews) to report progress, surface bottlenecks, and sustain execution velocity.
- Manage Transition Services Agreements (TSAs) post-close, tracking service exits and standing up standalone functions on schedule.
- Build repeatable integration playbooks, tools, and lessons learned to make each successive acquisition faster and cleaner.
- Create high-quality Exec- and Board-facing materials that frame integration status, risks, and decisions.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 5-8 years of experience working on M&A integrations
- Cross-functional program leadership: structuring ambiguous, multi-workstream integrations into clear workplans, owners, and milestones, and driving them to completion.
- Command of M&A integration mechanics across diligence, Day 1 / Day 100 planning, TSA management, and business-as-usual transition, with exposure to a range of deal structures (acquisitions, carve-outs, minority investments, joint ventures).
- Strong financial and analytical skills, including comfort with operating models, value-driver analysis, and scenario planning.
- Clear written and oral communication: integration plans, status reporting, and board-quality deliverables, with the executive presence to influence senior stakeholders and functional leaders.
- High ownership and curiosity, strong attention to detail, and comfort owning deliverables with minimal oversight in a fast-paced, scrappy environment.
- Strong synthesis: translating messy inputs from many functions into a clear point of view and decision.
WHAT WILL SET YOU APART
- Familiarity with A&D and advanced-manufacturing markets and the players in them.
- Prior integration / PMI, corp dev, PE, banking, or consulting experience, ideally in industrials, defense, or deep tech, or experience working inside a scaling manufacturing or hardware-focused company.
- Experience with carve-outs and TSAs, including standing up standalone functions post-close.
- Exposure to integrating operations, supply chain, and quality functions in an industrial or manufacturing context.
- Working knowledge of defense contracting and government cost accounting (FAR, CAS, DCAA, contract types) and how they shape deal economics.
- Enough understanding of advanced manufacturing technology (e.g., CNC, additive) to evaluate technical targets.
- Intermediate accounting knowledge and comfort building lightweight tooling/automation (e.g., VBA, Python, SQL) to scale analytical work.
- A network in the defense / space / manufacturing investor and operator ecosystem.
