Seeking an experienced Product Business Development Manager to support strategic partnership initiatives for a leading global technology company.

This role focuses on developing, negotiating, and executing complex product partnerships that address business challenges, accelerate innovation, and create new opportunities across consumer technology, digital platforms, entertainment, and emerging technologies.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in strategic business development, complex commercial negotiations, and zero to one technology partnerships, with demonstrated success navigating large technology organizations and working across multiple business functions.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role requiring strategic thinking, sound commercial judgment, technical business acumen, and the ability to drive partnership initiatives from initial concept through negotiation, execution, and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Business Development: Execute partnership strategies that address product challenges, identify new business opportunities, and support long-term product and organizational objectives.

• Complex Deal Negotiation: Structure, negotiate, and execute strategic commercial partnerships, including customized agreements, zero to one opportunities, and experimental partnership models.

• Technology and Product Integrations: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to evaluate technical feasibility, identify integration opportunities, and guide partnership implementation.

• Cross Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering, legal, finance, marketing, operations, and compliance teams to align objectives, manage dependencies, and drive business decisions.

• Partnership Strategy and Execution: Manage strategic initiatives from initial opportunity assessment and partner evaluation through negotiation, agreement execution, and implementation.

• Market Intelligence: Analyze industry trends, emerging technologies, competitive landscapes, digital business models, and potential partners to develop actionable strategic recommendations.

• Business Performance: Establish, track, and report measurable KPIs, partnership performance, and commercial outcomes in collaboration with business and finance stakeholders.

• Executive Stakeholder Management: Develop and present partnership proposals, business cases, pitch materials, and executive briefings to influence decisions and secure organizational alignment.

• Strategic Problem Solving: Navigate ambiguity, resolve complex business challenges, anticipate risks, and recommend solutions that account for product roadmaps and broader organizational priorities.

• Cross Functional Leadership: Coordinate multidisciplinary working groups, facilitate decisions, and escalate critical business issues when senior leadership involvement is required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Economics, or a related field.

• 6+ years of experience in technology business development, strategic partnerships, product partnerships, or a closely related field.

• Proven experience structuring, negotiating, and executing complex commercial agreements and strategic technology partnerships.

• Demonstrated experience developing zero to one partnerships, including customized commercial agreements, new business opportunities, or innovative product integration models.

• Strong understanding of technology platforms, technical infrastructure, product ecosystems, and how large technology organizations operate.

• Experience collaborating across product, engineering, legal, compliance, operations, marketing, and finance.

• Knowledge of consumer internet technologies, social media, digital business models, entertainment, and technology product integrations.

• Experience influencing senior stakeholders, building consensus, and driving decisions without direct reporting authority.

• Strong analytical and strategic problem solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business challenges into actionable solutions.

• Experience developing and presenting compelling business cases, strategic proposals, partnership pitches, and executive briefing materials.

• Ability to manage competing priorities, navigate ambiguity, and deliver results under tight timelines.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship management, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or JD.

• Previous business development or strategic partnership experience within a major technology company, consumer internet platform, or digital entertainment organization.

• Experience negotiating large-scale technology partnerships, commercial licensing agreements, strategic alliances, or complex product integrations.

• Background supporting social media, artificial intelligence, digital entertainment, messaging platforms, or emerging consumer technologies.

• Experience working in highly matrixed organizations with multiple business units and multidisciplinary stakeholders.

• Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, develop creative partnership structures, and execute new business initiatives.

• Experience operating successfully in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities and limited established processes.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have personally owned and negotiated complex technology partnerships, rather than solely managed existing partner relationships or supported partnership marketing initiatives.

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

• A proven track record of negotiating and closing customized commercial agreements with major technology companies.

• Experience taking new partnership opportunities from initial strategy and deal structuring through execution.

• Strong technical understanding of consumer technology platforms, product integrations, and organizational infrastructure.

• Ability to influence product, engineering, legal, finance, and executive stakeholders.

• Strategic thinking combined with the ability to independently execute complex business development initiatives.

This opportunity is best suited for a commercially driven, technically knowledgeable business development professional who thrives on building strategic relationships, solving complex problems, and bringing innovative partnerships to market.
