As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Prescription Administrator to join our Operations team at Winnersh Triangle. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy environment, has a keen eye for detail and enjoys working collaboratively to make a real difference.

With thousands of patients relying on our service, getting the little things right really does matter. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys problem-solving and wants to be part of a team that is helping to shape the future of medical cannabis in the UK.

About the Role

As a Prescription Administrator, you will play an important role in supporting our patients, clinicians and pharmacy teams, helping to ensure prescriptions are managed accurately and efficiently throughout the patient journey.

Working as part of our busy Operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining patient records, responding to enquiries, coordinating with internal and external teams and ensuring patients are kept informed about their prescriptions.

This is a varied and fast-paced role where no two days are quite the same. You will need to be organised, adaptable and comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and patient care.

What You Will Be Doing

- Responding to patient enquiries via telephone and email, providing a friendly, professional and helpful service.

- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic patient records and prescription information.

- Working closely with our pharmacy and clinical teams to ensure prescriptions are processed efficiently and medication reaches patients without unnecessary delays.

- Keeping patients informed of any changes or updates relating to their prescriptions.

- Liaising with external pharmacy partners to ensure prescriptions are received, dispensed and delivered correctly.

- Supporting our clinicians with day-to-day operational queries and ensuring they have the information they need.

- Assisting with operational and clinical recruitment and onboarding activities when required.

- Recording and escalating patient feedback, complaints, incidents and significant events in line with company procedures.

- Working with our Governance team to ensure concerns are appropriately documented and addressed.

- Liaising with our Product and Technology teams to help resolve technical issues affecting patients or clinicians.

- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and working collaboratively with colleagues to make our service even better.

- Maintaining compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures and mandatory training.

- Supporting the wider team with operational activities and attending relevant meetings as required.

- Demonstrating flexibility to support shift-based working when required.

What You Will Need

- At least two years of experience in an administrative, customer service or operational role.

- Experience working in healthcare or another regulated environment would be advantageous, but is not essential.

- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.

- Strong communication skills and a confident, professional telephone manner.

- A patient-focused approach with empathy, patience and a genuine desire to help others.

- Good IT skills and the confidence to learn new systems and technology.

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- An understanding of the importance of confidentiality, compliance and following established procedures.

- A proactive, adaptable attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- A willingness to learn, take ownership and contribute to the continued improvement of our service.

What We Offer

- Competitive salary

- 25 days annual leave, increasing to 27 days after one year and 30 days after two years, plus bank holidays

- 5% matched pension contribution

- Enhanced maternity and paternity pay

- Cycle-to-work scheme
