This role supports KE’s day-to-day operations by helping maintain company facilities, tools, equipment, inventory, and other assets across our offices, shops, yards, and jobsites. You’ll be responsible for keeping facilities and assets organized, maintained, tracked, and ready to support our teams in the field.

What You’ll Do
Asset, Tool & Equipment Operations
• Support the daily management of tools and equipment, including receiving, tagging, storage, checkout, return, maintenance, repair, replacement, and retirement.
• Maintain asset tracking systems and ensure accurate inventory records.
• Prepare and stage tools, equipment, and materials for field teams and project needs.
• Inspect returned equipment for damage, cleanliness, and readiness for reissue.
• Assist with preventative maintenance programs and coordinate repairs as needed.
• Ensure tools and equipment meet established safety and readiness standards.
Shipping, Receiving & Inventory
• Receive, verify, and document incoming shipments, materials, tools, and equipment.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Organize inventory within the warehouse, shop, and storage areas.
• Process material requests and fulfill orders for jobsites and company locations.
• Track inventory levels and assist with replenishment efforts.
• Support inventory audits and asset accountability initiatives.
Facilities & Site Operations
• Perform routine facility inspections and assist with preventative maintenance activities.
• Coordinate minor repairs and support service vendors as needed.
• Help maintain building systems, including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, security, and access control systems.
• Assist in maintaining company offices, shops, yards, and storage facilities in a clean, organized, and professional state.
• Support facility improvement projects and space optimization initiatives.
• Coordinate facility readiness for employees, visitors, and operations.
Safety & Compliance
• Maintain high standards for housekeeping, organization, and safety throughout all facilities.
• Support compliance with OSHA requirements and company safety policies.
• Assist with facility and asset inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Utilize appropriate PPE and adhere to site-specific safety requirements.
Grounds & Equipment Maintenance
• Assist with upkeep of company grounds, storage yards, and outdoor spaces.
• Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and organization of company equipment and vehicles.
• Support winter and seasonal maintenance activities as needed.
• Help maintain a work environment that is safe, efficient, and ready for daily operations.
What You Bring
You’re someone who shows up ready to work hard, learn fast, and contribute to a team that takes pride in doing things right. Successful candidates typically bring:
• 3+ years of experience in facilities, warehouse operations, inventory, asset management, equipment rental, shipping and receiving, construction operations, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations.
• Experience working with tools, equipment, fleet assets, or inventory tracking systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Experience in construction, electrical or mechanical contracting, industrial environments, or the trades is preferred.
• Experience with tool tracking software, CMMS, or work order management systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire/life safety, security, or other building systems is a plus.
• Forklift certification or experience operating material-handling equipment is preferred.
Pay Range

Pay Range: $28 - $36 per hour
