Senior Manager, Revenue Operations & Strategy (US East Coast - Remote)

Department: Commercial - Revenue Operations

Reports to: VP, Revenue Strategy & Operations

Many revenue operations roles keep the lights on. This one helps build the commercial operating system for Suvoda, the clinical trial technology company whose software keeps life-changing studies moving. If you like taking messy inputs, finding the signal, putting structure around it, and watching the business act on it, read on. You will work side by side with the VP of Revenue Strategy & Operations and partner with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and executive leadership. In a single day you might help a rep make sense of their attainment, shape the weekly forecast, and build the metrics behind a board conversation.

This is not a Salesforce administrator role, and it is not a finance role. It is a builder role for someone smart, curious, and quick to act, who wants hands-on mentorship and uses AI every day to do better work faster.

Responsibilities:

• Own the commercial reporting cadence: bookings, pipeline, forecast, attainment, KPIs, and the weekly sales flash. Keep it accurate, on time, and steadily less manual.

• Turn Salesforce and connected data into clear views of performance by segment, product, region, team, and account.

• Explain what happened, what is changing, where risk is building, and what leadership should do next. This shows up in weekly executive updates, board materials, and the questions that cannot wait until Monday.

• Be the Salesforce data expert for Revenue Operations. Know the objects, fields, relationships, and logic well enough to diagnose problems and write clear requirements for the admins and system owners who build changes.

• Lead the commercial side of commission and incentive plan design with Sales leadership and Finance. Model the options, test the mechanics, document the logic, and make sure plans show up correctly in Salesforce and in what reps and leaders see. Finance owns payouts.

• Connect Salesforce with the rest of the commercial stack, including call recording, forecasting, BI, and sales engagement tools, for a fuller picture of performance and execution.

• Be a first call for reps, sales leaders, and executives with questions on performance, forecast, territories, and comp. If it is not yours to fix, find who it belongs to and close the loop.

• Use AI daily to speed up analysis, reporting, documentation, and research without compromising data definitions or trust.

• Take ambiguous initiatives from idea to adoption, with clear owners, milestones, and decisions.

What Success Looks Like:

• Leaders trust the numbers, the definitions, and the story in the weekly cadence.

• Forecast meetings spend their time on decisions, not on reconciling data.

• Reps and leaders can see their own performance, attainment, and incentive progress without asking for a custom pull.

• Commission plans are well designed, clearly documented, and correctly reflected in our systems.

• Recurring reporting is faster, more automated, and more self-service than when you started.

• People across the company know you as the person who gets back to them, finds the answer, and is easy to work with.

Requirements:

• At least 6 years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Commercial Strategy & Operations, GTM Operations, or commercial analytics within a complex B2B or B2B2C business.

• Experience in healthcare technology, life sciences, eClinical, clinical trial technology, or a CRO is required.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Deep, hands-on Salesforce fluency. You can reason about the data model, design reporting structures, and diagnose data issues. Admin certification is not required.

• A track record of owning or materially improving bookings, pipeline, forecast, attainment, or executive reporting.

• Hands-on experience designing, modeling, or governing sales compensation, quota, or incentive plans.

• Advanced Excel or comparable modeling skills, and comfort working from imperfect data.

• Experience with connected commercial tools such as call recording, forecasting platforms, BI, or sales engagement systems.

• Clear, concise writing and the confidence to present to executives and board-level audiences.

• Real, current use of AI tools to improve the quality, speed, or scale of your work.
