Our CNAs are essential members of the Nursing Team. You’ll have a real voice in everyday care planning and in delivering care that fits each resident’s individual needs. What you’ll do
As a CNA, you’ll help residents with personal hygiene and activities of daily living in ways that meet their needs. You’ll care for the whole person: social, emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical. Day to day, you will:
• Provide daily hygiene care for residents with dignity and respect
• Get to know each resident’s preferences so you can personalize their care
• Document care accurately and promptly report any changes or concerns to the right team members
• Follow safety, infection control, and risk management procedures
• Keep your supervisor updated on each resident’s status and condition
• Support the team with other duties as needed
Basic Qualifications & Experience
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Colorado State Certified Nursing Assistant License
• 3 – 6 months experience in a long-term care preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills.
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements
• Position requires medium-heavy physical work. Heavy lifting, pushing or pulling objects up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up in excess of 45 pounds of force repeatedly to move objects.
• Stands and walks constantly during working hours with occasional sitting, kneeling, squatting, and reaching above shoulder height and fine motor control with fingers. Also requires grasping.
• Exposure to blood borne pathogens, body excretions and communicable diseases
• Is subject to frequent interruptions.
• Interacts with residents, family members and visitors frequently.
